Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is under five bucks on the Steam Summer Sale. The Steam Summer Sale is well underway at this point, running from the 22nd of June until the 5th of July. There are tons and tons of games on sale on Steam right now, and given just how vast that service’s catalog is at this point, it never hurts to have some advice. But having over 4,500 Mac games on Steam is still a great thing, especially when the quality is there. The quality of the best Mac games today is simply impressive. And this is confirmed when looking at the top rated games on Steam. 'I recently bought a Retina MacBook Pro and started playing a bunch of games from Steam. I really enjoyed both the Tomb Raider reboots we’ve gotten in the past few years. They may be a big departure from previous entries in the franchise, but they have some excellent writing and fun combat, and cool tombs to raid. For five bucks it’s hard to pass up. This was one of my favorite games of 2012, and beat out lots of other games (like Mass Effect 3) for Now it’s less than three bucks. You have no excuses. If you like Diablo, you’ll probably like Torchlight. I really enjoyed Torchlight II a lot, though it’s a bit more on the cartoony and colorful side of the top-down action-RPG genre. For a grimmer take check out Grim Dawn (.) 4. Yes, a great deal comes down to the luck of the draw in FTL. But the awesome soundtrack and the edge-of-your-seat gameplay, which basically has you navigating your own Star Trek ship through a randomly-generated roguelike galaxy, is just too much fun to pass up. At $2.49, give it a spin. YOU WILL DIE. Speaking of great soundtracks, both the Hotline Miami games have excellent, hypnotic OSTs. Ms office for mac app store. Combine that with the trippy story and addictive, challenging gameplay and you get something truly special. You can buy these individually for less, but the pack for five bucks is the best deal. Hotline Miami 6. The game that started it all, Arkham Asylum is a lot different from its sequels, largely because it isn’t nearly so open-world and relies more on Metroidvania mechanics. It’s a bit more dated, too, but it makes up for that by being a truly unique experience. Often considered one of the great RPGs of the era, many still consider New Vegas the best of the Fallout series. Oh sure, it had lots of technical problems, but it really did do something with its lore and storytelling. An oldie but a goodie, this classic dino-hunter game still sells for $20 on Steam making this a pretty steep discount. They just don’t make dinosaur games like the used to. A classic shooter like no other—though both and are spiritual successors and also just $4.99 each— STALKER is an older game, but well worth picking up even years after release. Borderlands 2 11. Love it or hate it, at five bucks Borderlands 2 is absolutely worth your money. Not everyone digs the humor, but I’ve always enjoyed these games simply because they’re wacky shooters that you don’t have to get too invested in. If you haven’t played this one yet, come on already. It’s time. It’s two dollars. Originally announced at $39.99 this relatively short quasi-tech-demo for The Phantom Pain is finally at a price we can all agree on. It’s a really good little game, it was just Konami doing what they do that made it so expensive initially.
